When We Live Our Values
GreenCircle Certified is always immersed in our culture. Our headquarters are in Royersford, PA and we enjoy working in a 150-year-old sustainable building right on the river! This gives us the opportunity to be active participants in local efforts with stream clean-ups through Perkiomen Watershed.
All employees, regardless of location, participate in backpack/school supply donations and holiday gift donations. We partner with A Lively Hope, a program that accepts donations for children of parents who are imprisoned and newly released community members. Children who have lost parents or loved ones to violent acts of crime, parents who have passed away while incarcerated, as well as parents who are in rehabilitation services.

What We Are Looking For
As a Certification Intern, you will report to a dedicated and innovative Project Manager and have exposure to projects from a variety of industries, products, and services. In this role you will receive a concentrated education in sustainability practices and environmental assessments. This program attracts high-caliber candidates looking to immerse themselves in sustainability and project management. At the completion of the internship, the intern will have learned project management skills through hands-on experience and expert guidance. Our interns develop lasting relationships and business skills enabling them to launch a successful career. What You Are Accountable For
Gain engineering and project management skills by supporting our teams to complete projects on-time and on-budget.
Acquire the skills to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.
Compose and write technical reports and correspondence.
Learn how to proactively identify potential problems; propose recommendations for an effective solution.
Assist with weekly and on-demand reporting of all workflow activities.
Conduct site visits for information gathering purposes, as necessary.

Additional Preferred Skills
Currently enrolled and working towards (or recently graduated and holds) a Bachelor’s Degree in one of these fields: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineer, Materials Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Construction Management.
Availability to travel up to 10% of time, for information gathering purposes.
Experience using Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel skills.
AutoCad, MS Project, SimaPro, and eQuest is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge of the following areas are a plus, but not required: Sustainability, Construction Management or Architecture, Manufacturing, Project Management, Life-Cycle Assessments/ISO 14001 and ISO 14040, Material and Process Flow Analyses, FTC Green Guides, GHG Inventory Accounting, Environmental Product Labeling, Material Ingredient Reporting, Environmental Compliance for Air/Water/Waste; Energy Modeling, ASHRAE, Energy Star.
Where You Will Be Located
This is a remote position with occasional work travel and on-site collaborative meetings as needed.
What You Will Be Paid
The compensation for this role his role is $21/hour.
