GreenCircle’s Certified Environmental Facts (CEF) label does just that. Architects and designers consider our label the “gold standard in transparency” and request our label regularly.
How do you read GreenCircle’s Certified Environmental Facts (CEF) Label?
We understand that our CEF label can look intimidating at first. Which is why we made this video to explain our label in detail. Despite it’s intimidating look, it is actually as easy to read as a nutrition label, and it is the most transparent and thorough multi-attribute label in the industry.

GREENCIRCLE’S SUSTAINABILITY FACTS (CSF) LABEL
We built our Certified Sustainability Facts Label in order to capture every aspect of sustainability. Our CSF label highlights the product specific and manufacturing specific attributes similar to our CEF label, while also accounting for other sustainability attributes that are important to your industry. These attributes include animal welfare, food safety, environmental farming practices, and people and community support.
Speaking a Common Language About Sustainability
We built our Certified Sustainability Facts (CSF) Label in order to capture every aspect of sustainability. Our CSF label highlights the product specific and manufacturing specific attributes, while also accounting for other sustainability attributes that are important to your industry.
GreenCircle chose to redesign the CSF label to align with the mindful MATERIALS Common Materials Framework to clarify the impact of achieved attributes. These attributes include a circular economy, human health, climate health, ecosystem health, and social health & equity.

Our Commitment
GreenCircle does not receive funding from any external affiliations or industry groups. Each client is charged a fee for service and certification is not guaranteed unless data requirements in the audit plan are met and analysis determines the claim can be certified.

GreenCircle investigates complaints and appeals in compliance with its Appeals, Complaints and Disputes Procedure. In the case of complaints against the actions of an GreenCircle client, the complainant should first attempt to resolve the issue with that client prior to requesting that GreenCircle become involved. In the case of appeals, the appellant must lodge its appeal with GreenCircle against any adverse decision taken by GreenCircle within thirty (30) calendar days after notification of the decision.
GreenCircle will not compromise the integrity and impartiality of our third-party auditing of sustainability claims. We document the sustainability achievement of a client in accordance with the GreenCircle specific Audit Plan and Certification Procedure, based on a certification audit in accordance with the GreenCircle Certification Scheme.
