Who We Are

At GreenCircle Certified, we know that you want to be a trustworthy brand. In order to do that, you need unbiased third-party certification to verify your sustainability claims.

Our History

GreenCircle Certified was established in 2009 by our founders, Tara and Tad Radzinski, after encountering many unsubstantiated claims in the marketplace. Tara and Tad co-founded GreenCircle because they have the fundamental belief that the world should know about your commitment to sustainability.

At GreenCircle, we understand that your customers are putting pressure on you to be more transparent, which makes you feel like you’re going to get left behind. GreenCircle's rigorous evaluation process provides independent verification that your sustainability claims are valid so that you can get ahead of your competition. Manufacturers, suppliers, regulators, occupants, and consumers can trust that your GreenCircle Certified products and operations claims have been thoroughly assessed and verified to applicable standards.

We know how imperative it is for your customers to be assured of your sustainability efforts, which is why we have issued over 2,000 certifications for sustainability claims. We go the extra step to provide marketing support for your certifications and train your sales team to use your certifications to turn sustainability into sales.

Our Commitment

GreenCircle will not compromise the integrity and impartiality of our third-party auditing of sustainability claims. GreenCircle does not receive funding from any external affiliations or industry groups. Each client is charged a fee for service and certification is not guaranteed unless data requirements in the audit plan are met and analysis determines the claim can be certified.

Community Service

At GreenCircle, we are committed to making our community a better place. Service is a key aspect of our culture and we participate in numerous community projects every year.

Company Garden

We plant an assortment of vegetable seeds in the raised beds outside of our office building every year. Everyone in the office lends a hand in taking care of the garden in order to grow fresh, organic vegetables for people in need. Once our veggies are fully grown, we harvest them and donate them to our local food pantry. Since 2014 we have donated over 1,000 pounds of organic vegetables.

School Backpack Donation

GreenCircle purchases school supplies and backpacks for children in order to ensure that they have all of the supplies they need to be prepared for their first day of school. For the past four years, we have packed 50 backpacks for children in grades K-8 and we donate them to Lifeline Baptist Community Church in Coatesville, PA.

Christmas Present Donation

GreenCircle has donated 500 presents to Lifeline Baptist Community Church over the past three holiday seasons. Every year we buy gifts for 30 children in their program A Lively Hope. This program accepts donations for children of parents who are imprisoned, newly released community members, children who have lost parents or loved ones to violent acts of crime, parents who have passed away while incarcerated, as well as parents who are in rehabilitation.

Stream Clean Up

Each spring, the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy hosts a watershed-wide clean-up event focusing on removing trash, tires, and other debris from regional waterways. Looking to make a positive difference in the health of our local streams and nearby habitats, GreenCircle has participated since 2009 and has collected hundreds of pounds of trash and tires from our watershed.

Holiday Tree Purchases

During the holiday season we honor our client’s commitment to sustainability by purchasing trees in their name through American Forests. Since 2009 our donations have planted over 10,000 trees which will help offset a portion of our clients carbon footprints.
